• Scholarships and Financial Assessment:

Entry into a UWC school or college is through a competitive selection process. The decision to nominate a student is based purely on how well he or she meets UWC selection criteria. Nomination does not necessarily guarantee that a student will receive a scholarship however. If a student is nominated, his or her parents or guardians will need to complete a financial assessment, which is separate from the selection process. Once the assessment has been completed, students with demonstrated financial need are awarded places offering partial or full scholarships based on their families’ capacities to pay.

So far, all students nominated to the 2-year IBDP by the Tunisian national committee received full-tuition scholarships. However, the scholarships don’t cover travel and visa expenses, pocket money, and IB exams fees, which may range from  $1,500 to $5,000 minimum for the 2 years. These costs vary depending on the school location and the host country regulations.
